DENOR Brands & Public Relations, Founder win Rising Star Award

The Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce recognized DENOR Brands & Public Relations and its founder, Ashley Northington during its 10th annual Business Awards & Luncheon.

The chamber recognizes business owners who have achieved significant business growth and made valuable contributions in their respective communities.

Northington and DENOR along with Krystal Bonner of Phoenix Forrester Events, Joshua Mundy of Music City Cleaners, Corey Jones of Diamond Disinfecting Solutions, along with Clint Gray, Derrick Moore, and Emmanuel Reed of Green Truck Movers were all named Rising Stars. Bill Lee of MiTech Partners was named Black Business of the Year.

The Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce has a membership of more than 150 African American and minority businesses and entrepreneurs in the Middle Tennessee area.

The purpose of Music City’s Black Chamber of Commerce is to teach capitalism and expand access to capitalization, technical support, procurement opportunities, effective networking and sharing of information for Black owned businesses and other minority owned businesses as well as the African descendent community as a whole. The Nashville Black Chamber was founded to serve as a support network in promoting African-American owned business and assisting in creating economic parity and wealth in the African American community.
