Award Winning Gospel Group To Headline Live-Recorded Showcase

BALTIMORE (June 17, 2013) — Gospel Heritage Showcase Winner Damien Sneed featuring the Levites will headline a live-recorded concert at the conclusion of the Church of God In Christ’s Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) Convention, which is a massive week of gospel music, preaching and teaching.  The recorded showcase will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 at Falvey Hall in the Mica Brown Center in downtown Baltimore.

The gospel showcase will also feature Bishop Iona E. Locke, Lecresia Campbell, James Ziegler, Ruby Holland Hutchins, Judy Ray Tucker, Tekesha Russell and other special guests. Le Chateau Earl Records will produce the live event.

“I’m extremely excited and truly anticipating a move of God for my sophomore project,” said Sneed, who selected each of the members, and released the acclaimed Introspections Live in 2010.  “I’m wiser this time around.  My sound and writing has gone through an intense stage of development, growth and maturity from my most recent life experiences.  I’m also elated that I’ll be sharing this platform with The Levites.  Each of them is a solo artist in their own right and the fact that they are humble enough to yield their voices and giftings for this project is absolutely amazing.”

The Levites have been ministering in music for nearly 10 years. The group’s members have performed with gospel greats such as Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary, and secular artists, such as Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, Julio Iglesias and John Legend. The talented group has also graced the stages of BET’s hit series, Sunday Best. Members have also been featured on acclaimed television shows such as The Wendy Williams Show and Saturday Night Live, as well as on popular networks including the Oprah Winfrey Network and VH1.

Already the group has found success with its hit single, “Broken to Minister.” During the concert, the group plans to record the single and several other tunes, including “A Place Called There.”

General admission tickets to the event cost $35. VIP tickets cost $50, while balcony seats cost $25. Tickets can be purchased online at www.lechateauearl.com and www.damiensneed.com.
