BATON ROUGE — Comedic actor Kevin Hart will tickle funnybones on Thursday, November 11 at the Baton Rouge River Center Arena. Hart and his funny friends will appear as part of the inaugural event to kick off the LSU homecoming festivities, presented by the upscale event brand Soul Refined and the LSU Black Alumni.
Hart has made audiences laugh through his stand up performances and appearances in several movies. Most recently, he was seen in the 2007 remake Death at a Funeral alongside Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence. He’s also been seen opposite Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in Fools Gold. Hart’s other movie credits include Meet Dave, Super Hero Movie, Soul Plane, Not Easily Broken, Drillbit Taylor, Epic Movie, The Last Stand, Scary Movie 4, In the Mix, and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Hart is also set to appear in Little Fockers, a sequel to the comedy Meet the Fockers, which will be released in December 2010.
The hilarious Hart can not only be seen on the silver screen, he’s also a regular on television. He recently took over as the host of BET’s classic stand-up comedy series “Comic View: One Mic Stand.” Additionally, Hart executive produced ABC’s “The Big House” and he wrote and had recurring roles on “Love, Inc.,” “Barbershop,” and “Undeclared.” Most notably, Hart premiered in his one-hour comedy special “I’m a Grown Little Man” on Comedy Central, which debuted as one of the highest-rated specials for the network.
Not only will the comedy show feature Hart, performances from other nationally known comedians will be showcased during the Nov. 11 event.
